Solutions Design Engineer at Rubicon Water

Casey Gibson is a Solutions Design Engineer at Rubicon Water since May 2025, with prior experience as an Associate Program Officer at the National Academy of Engineering from December 2022 to May 2025, managing projects within the CESER program and supporting the RJ&E Committee. Gibson has a background in research, having served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Colorado School of Mines, focusing on sustainable food production in the context of mining in Colombia. Additional experience includes an internship at MIT D-Lab developing assessment tools for environmental risks, mentoring Fulbright English Teaching Assistants in Mexico, and conducting outreach to promote engineering among K-12 students. Gibson holds a Master of Science in Humanitarian Engineering and Science with a focus on Environmental Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, along with dual Bachelor degrees in Biological Engineering and Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Arkansas.
