Katie McGarry, DNP, has been working in the healthcare industry since 2014. Katie began their career at Mount Sinai Health System, where they held the roles of Clinical Program Manager, Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Bariatric Surgery Program Coordinator, and General Surgery Nurse Practitioner. In 2021, they joined RubiconMD as Director of Clinical Operations and Programs, and Clinical Programs Lead.

Katie McGarry, DNP, has an extensive educational background. Katie obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biology with Distinction from Colby College in 2011. Following this, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbia University in 2012. Katie then went on to receive a Master of Science in Adult and Gerontology Nurse Practitioner from Columbia University School of Nursing in 2013. Finally, in 2016, they completed their Doctor of Nursing Practice from Columbia University School of Nursing. Additionally, they are board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, which they obtained in March 2014.
