Dr. Vishnu Ramchandran

Dr. Vishnu Ramchandran's work experience starts in 2001 with a summer internship at Godrej Agrovet Limited. In 2002, they completed a summer internship at IDFC and also worked as a Business Analyst at GENPACT, handling Commercial Finance Pricing.

In 2005, they joined Dun & Bradstreet and was involved in setting up India's first Rating Agency for SMEs called SME Rating Agency (SMERA). Dr. Vishnu developed proprietary models for assessing SMEs and contributed to strategy development, financial planning, product design, and operations. Dr. Vishnu also worked as a Product Manager at D&B TransUnion Analytic and Decision Services, managing credit risk software offerings and undertaking consulting assignments.

From 2006 to 2010, Dr. Ramchandran held various roles at Dun & Bradstreet, including Senior Manager and Leader Supply Chain Risk Solutions. Dr. Vishnu led the domestic business for risk products, developed and launched new products, participated in M&A activities, and played a role in setting up operations in overseas locations. Dr. Vishnu also revamped and re-engineered rating processes through the introduction of IT tools.

Starting from 2010, they worked at Experian India as the Head of Product Development and Operations for Business Information. From 2014 to 2017, they served as the Chief Product Officer at Onicra Credit Rating Agency of India Limited, overseeing business expansion and the development of new products in vertical markets such as FinTech and Education.

In 2017, Dr. Ramchandran co-founded Rubix Data Sciences Private Limited and served as the Co-Founder & Chief Technology and Product Officer (CTO and CPO). Rubix focuses on simplifying decision-making for professionals in various domains, including Credit, Risk, Compliance, Supply Chain, and Marketing.

In 2020, they worked as a Hackathon Mentor and Guide at ITM-Kharghar, Department of Business Analytics.

Their passion for continuous learning is evident through their additional certification as a Professional Risk Manager (PRM) from PRMIA, which they attained in April 2005.
