Jackie Shelton is an accomplished QA/QC Lab Manager with extensive experience in the food industry, currently employed at Rubix Foods since August 2011 and previously at Darifair Foods Inc. from August 2011 to October 2021. Responsibilities include performing quality control sampling and lab analysis of food products, assisting in documentation, managing shelf life testing, and maintaining lab safety protocols. Prior to these roles, Jackie worked as a Laboratory Technologist at the University of Rhode Island Aquatic Pathology Lab, focusing on DNA extraction and molecular analysis for oyster disease diagnosis, while also educating undergraduate students on lab techniques. Jackie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Biology from the University of Rhode Island.
