Sergio Velasco Hernández

Sergio Velasco Hernández has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Sergio began their career as a Systems Engineer at Telefonica I+D, where they were responsible for network and systems management. Sergio then worked as a Systems Engineer at GFI, focusing on a Broadband Service Selection Platform. After that, they joined Altran as a Consultant for a short period of time.

In 2011, Sergio joined Mitula Group, where they held various positions. Sergio started as a BackEnd Manager, specializing in search engines and big data. Later, they became the CTO, overseeing infrastructure scaling, agile development teams, and cloud migration. Sergio also demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of technologies and software.

Sergio went on to work at Lifull Connect as the CTO in the Vertical Search Area, responsible for engineering management and alignment of technology with business objectives. Subsequently, they joined urbanData Analytics (Alantra Group) as the Head of Data Engineering and later the Head of Data.

Currently, Sergio holds the position of Head of Product at Rubrikk Group AS. Their expertise includes product management, enterprise architecture, and leadership. Overall, Sergio Velasco Hernández has demonstrated a strong technical background combined with strategic leadership capabilities throughout their career.

Sergio Velasco Hernández pursued their education from 2000 to 2007 at Universidad de Alcalá, where they obtained a degree in I.T.T. Telemática with a specialization in Telecomunicaciones. In addition to their academic qualifications, Sergio also completed the Management 3.0 Fundamentals Online Workshop offered by Management 3.0 in December 2020.
