Jake Welchert

Jake Welchert has diverse work experience in the field of design and development. Jake is currently working as a Design Lead at Ruca since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Designer/Developer at Dayshapes starting from May 2013. From September 2011 to May 2016, they served as the Omaha Pecha Kucha Coordinator at Omaha Pecha Kucha. Jake also worked as a Consulting Designer at Coolhouse Labs from June 2013 to August 2014. Furthermore, they were a student at The Starter League, specializing in HTML/CSS/UX, from January 2013 to April 2013. Adding to their experience, Jake worked as a Designer at Obama For America from January 2012 to February 2013, and as a Production Artist at Ervin & Smith Advertising from May 2011 to December 2011. Jake began their career as a Design Intern at Eleanor Creative from January 2011 to May 2011.

Jake Welchert completed a Bachelor's degree in Design and Applied Arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, attending from 2006 to 2011. In 2013, they also pursued a course on HTML/CSS/UX design at The Starter League.
