Mahdi Faraj

Mahdi Faraj is currently serving as the Beijing Bureau Chief at Rudaw Media Network since September 2023. Before this role, Mahdi worked at Lalav Group as a General Supervisor and Marketing Manager from July 2022 to September 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a PR and Media Consultant at the Chinese Consulate General Erbil from January 2021 to April 2022, and as a Correspondent at Rudaw from December 2018 to January 2021. Mahdi also held the position of Program Officer at KURDS NGO and taught English at the University of Duhok and American Corner Duhok. Mahdi possesses a Master's degree in International Relations from Tsinghua University, an exchange degree from the University of Warsaw, and a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Duhok.
