Ivanka Jerić

Coordinator Of The Major Infrastructure Project O-zip at Ruđer Bošković Institute

Ivanka Jeric is a highly experienced professional in the field of chemistry and project coordination. Currently serving as the Coordinator for the O-ZIP project at the Ruđer Bošković Institute since November 2020, Ivanka leads a multidisciplinary R&D initiative funded by the European Regional Development Fund, valued at 72 million euros. Since April 2016, Ivanka has also held multiple roles at the Ruđer Bošković Institute, including Assistant Director, Head of the Laboratory for Biomimetic Chemistry, and Assistant Director for Structural Funds. Previous experience includes consultancy work at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a scientific position at the University of Utrecht, focusing on organic synthesis and analytical techniques. Ivanka obtained a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Zagreb in 2000, following a BS in Chemistry from the same institution in 1994.
