Mindy Shmidt is an experienced apparel designer with a strong background in product development and technical design. Currently serving as an Apparel Designer at RUDIS since July 2022, Mindy specializes in creating technical apparel and accessories for Olympic-style wrestling, collaborating closely with manufacturers and vendors. Previously, as a Product Development Manager at Columbus Apparel Studio, Mindy oversaw the product lifecycle from concept to production, managing production teams and ensuring quality control. Mindy's earlier roles include Design Director at HOMAGE and Senior Designer at Abercrombie & Fitch Co., where responsibilities included managing multiple product categories, collaborating across departments, and overseeing production. Mindy holds a Master's degree in Human Ecology from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
