Tim Lowney

Tim Lowney, who has been with Ruger for over 12 years, was promoted to Vice President of Prescott Operations on April 1, 2019. Prior to that, he served in various operations leadership roles with the Company, including, most recently, as General Manager of the Newport Gun Division. An engineer by trade, Tim has worked in manufacturing management for over 20 years, including previous positions with TRW and Torrington. Tim has extensive Lean training and, over his 20 years in manufacturing, has lead multiple Lean conversions.He is excited to lead the Prescott team through their continued Value Stream Transition. Tim graduated from the University of Lowell with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
