Dikshya Swain

Dikshya Swain has five years of work experience in the field of robotics and software engineering. Dikshya began their career in 2014 as a Research Intern at Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics, where they worked on the dynamic and control stability of a humanoid robot. In 2016, they held a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, as well as a Robotics Intern position at XactSense, Inc., where they worked on the hardware and software setup of a UAV. From 2017 to 2020, Dikshya worked as an Advanced Software Engineer and Software Engineer II at Intelligrated. Most recently, they have been a Robotics Software Engineer at Rugged Robotics since 2020.

Dikshya Swain obtained their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from SRM University. Dikshya then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, which they completed in 2017. In 2018, they obtained their RIA Certified Robot Technologist certification from A3 Robotics. In 2019, they earned their Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Honeywell. Finally, in 2021, they obtained their OSHA 10-hour construction industry and safety certification from CareerSafe Online.
