Jesse Sowell

Jesse Sowell is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in sales and marketing within the food service and retail sectors. Currently serving as EVP/GM for Food Service and Retail Business Units at Ruiz Foods since April 2012, Jesse has held multiple leadership roles including Senior Vice President and Vice President of Retail Sales, managing Grocery, Club, and Mass channels. Previous positions include Director of Sales for West Retail at West Pico Foods, focusing on the ice cream and specialty frozen foods markets, and National Account Manager for Safeway at Unilever Ice Cream. Jesse's career began at Bumble Bee Seafoods as Director of Sales Operations and includes roles as Category Manager at Frito-Lay and Gourmet Award Foods. Educational achievements include an MBA from the University of California, Irvine and degrees in Computer Science and History from Texas Wesleyan University.
