Shehanie Hernandez

Shehanie Hernandez, LMFT, has extensive experience in the mental health field, currently serving on the Therapist Advisory Council at Rula since November 2020 and as Clinical Supervisor at Eggleston Youth Centers since May 2019. Shehanie has held multiple roles at Eggleston Youth Centers, including Head of Service/STRTP Mental Health Therapist and STRTP Mental Health Therapist, where responsibilities included providing individual, family, and group therapy, conducting assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Prior experience includes working as a Mental Health Therapist at Maryvale and as a Behavioral Therapist at the Center for Behavioral Sciences, Inc., providing Applied Behavior Analysis to children with developmental disorders. Shehanie's educational background includes a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from La Sierra University.
