Nancy Kalish has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Nancy is the founder and CEO of Rule Breaker Snacks since 2014, where they specialize in producing gluten-free and vegan brownies and blondies. Prior to this, they worked as a Healthy Restaurant Consultant at Nancy Kalish Consulting from 2010 to 2014. In this role, they assisted restaurants in revamping their menus to cater to health-conscious consumers and those with dietary restrictions.

Additionally, Nancy has an extensive freelancing background in journalism and editing. From 1994 to 2014, their articles appeared in numerous publications including The Oprah Magazine, Prevention, New York Times, Parade, Real Simple, and many others. Nancy has also contributed several Op-Eds to The New York Times. Furthermore, they worked as a freelance editor and consultant for companies such as Time Inc. Custom Publishing, Reader's Digest, Hearst, Hachette, Gruner & Jahr, and others from 1994 to 2013. Additionally, they served as a Senior Editor at Cosmopolitan Magazine from 1989 to 1994.

Nancy Kalish obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing from Princeton University. Nancy then pursued a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. Following this, they attained a certification in Holistic Nutrition and Health Coaching from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN). For high school, Nancy attended The Dalton School. Nancy later returned to Princeton University to complete a Bachelor of Arts in English/Creative Writing. In addition to their formal education, Nancy obtained a certification as a Health Coach from the State University of New York at Purchase in April 2011.
