Steven Hanson

Steven Hanson, CPA CIA CRMA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of internal audit, risk management, and compliance. Steven most recently worked at RumbleOn as the Director of Internal Audit and previously as the Senior Manager of Internal Audit. Before that, Steven worked at Ecobat as the Enterprise Risk Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Harris Dickey, VIP, and RGP as a Risk & Controls Advisor, where they provided internal audit services and designed scalable processes and controls for various industries. Steven was also the Senior Director of Internal Audit & Compliance at RealPage, Inc. Steven has worked at RH Management Consultants, RGP, BDO, and Harris Dickey as a Risk & Controls Advisor, overseeing various audits and managing the SOX program implementation. Steven also served as the Director of Risk Management & Compliance at Research Now, where they created the internal audit function and prepared for IPO readiness. Steven's earlier experiences include working at Resources Global Professionals as an Internal Audit & Risk Consultant, RSM McGladrey as a Director of Consulting Services, Accretive Solutions as a Senior Manager in Enterprise Governance Services, and Ernst & Young as a Manager of Business Risk Services, where they managed SOX implementation for global companies. Overall, Steven Hanson has a strong background in internal audit, risk management, and compliance, with a focus on process improvement and driving organizational growth.

Steven Hanson obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Hastings College in 1993. Steven then went on to earn their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in 1997. Later, in 2006, they became certified to conduct Quality Assessment Reviews (QAR) by The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Steven also holds the Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), which they obtained in December 2014, and the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification, which they obtained in December 2015.
