Sara Jameel Hadad

Sara Jameel Hadad has a diverse work experience that spans across various organizations and roles. Sara Jameel currently holds the position of Chief Campaigns Officer at Run for Something since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at New American Leaders as the Chief Operating Officer from 2018 to 2022 and briefly served as the Acting President from 2021 to 2021.

Before joining New American Leaders, Sara worked at the Latino Victory Project where they held the role of Vice President from 2015 to 2018. Sara Jameel also served as the Director of Operations at the organization from 2014 to 2015.

In 2009, Sara worked at The Ford Foundation as a Department Coordinator, overseeing operations in the Democratic Participation teams. Additionally, they headed the Human Services Division of the Ford Foundation Good Neighbor Committee.

Earlier in their career, Sara gained experience as an Assistant to the Chairman, George Soros at Soros Fund Management from 2004 to 2009. Sara Jameel evaluated grant requests, business proposals, and letters of political interest during their tenure.

Sara's career started as an ESL Teacher at St. James Language School in Prague, Czech Republic from 2003 to 2004.

Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Global Affairs at New York University, completing their studies in 2008. Lastly, they attended Georgetown University's Executive Program in Non-Profit Management, which concluded in 2016.
