Karl Thomsen

Karl Thomsen has a diverse work experience spanning many industries. Karl started their career at Bear Stearns as an International and Domestic Branch Assistant Manager. Karl then moved on to Bridge International, where they served as the President/Owner. After that, they worked as a Teacher at St. Xavier High School before transitioning into the tech industry. Karl joined Infuse.us in 2014 as the CEO and later took on the role of Director of Corporate Strategy. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at Run Payments.

Karl Thomsen has a diverse education history. Karl began their studies at Trinity University from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Metaphysics & Legal Theory. Karl then pursued their passion for music and German at Murray State University from 1989 to 1992, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Continuing their musical studies, they attended the University of Northern Iowa from 1992 to 1994, obtaining a Master of Music (MM) degree in Theory/History. Karl furthered their education in conducting at Yale University from 1992 to 1996, receiving a Master of Arts (MA) degree. Lastly, they attended Louisiana State University from 1996 to 1998, focusing on Choral/Orchestral Conducting and was in the process of completing a DMA (ABD) degree.
