Bahaa Galal

Bahaa Galal has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and engineering. Bahaa is currently the Head of Engineering at Runa since October 2022. Previously, they served as the CTO and Co-Founder of Crowd Analyzer, where they scaled the Engineering team from scratch to over 30 engineers. Prior to that, they worked as the CTO at Inktank Communications LLC, where they hired and trained software and testing engineers and developed a CRM system using PHP and MySQL. Bahaa also gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Raya Social Media, where they developed a Facebook-like social media platform and a real-time chat application prototype. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at DARE'n'DEAL, where they developed a group buying website and mentored junior engineers. Lastly, they contributed to the development of the Wuzzuf platform as a Software Engineer and developed a mathematical model for candidate-job matching.

Bahaa Galal completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering from Ain Shams University between 2004 and 2009. In 2008, they also pursued an internship in C++ Programming at Ruhr University Bochum. Additionally, in August 2008, they obtained a certification in "7 Habits By Stephen Covey" from LTC.
