Joseph Gonzalez is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence and computer science, currently serving as Co-Founder and Head of AI at RunLLM since October 2020. Concurrently, Joseph holds the position of Associate Professor at UC Berkeley, having also completed a postdoc in the AMPLab focused on large-scale systems for machine learning. Previous entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding Turi, which aimed to innovate data processing methodologies. Joseph obtained a PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, where research emphasized parallel methods for large-scale statistical learning, following a BS in Computer Science from Caltech. Notable internships include roles at Yahoo!, AT&T Labs, and Microsoft, contributing to advancements in machine learning and software development.
