Mitch Souders

Senior Software Engineer at RunSafe Security

Mitch Souders has been working in the software engineering field since 2003. Mitch began their career at Northwest Logic as a Hardware Modifier in 2003. In 2004, they worked as a Web Programmer and Fan Control Developer at Intel Corporation. In 2005 and 2006, they worked as a QA Software Engineer Intern at McAfee, Inc. During 2006, they also worked as a Math Tutor at Oregon Institute of Technology. In 2007, they began working at Mentor Graphics as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on front-end compiler work primarily in grammar, syntax tree and intermediate representations, as well as building infrastructure for Verilog compiler optimizations. In 2020, they began working at RunSafe Security Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer.

Mitch Souders obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from Portland State University between 2012 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Software Engineering Technology and Computer Engineering Technology from Oregon Institute of Technology between 2004 and 2009.
