JP Garcia

Head of Audience Development at Runtime Media

JP Garcia has extensive experience in audience development and marketing, with a focus on OTT and cable networks. JP is currently the Head of Audience Development at Runtime Media, where they are responsible for driving audience growth. Prior to this, they worked at Cheddar Inc. as an Audience Development Manager, where they developed and executed strategies to increase live viewership and conducted audience measurement studies. Before that, JP served as the Director of Marketing at Digital Media Rights, where they led business development efforts for OTT properties and managed distribution deals. JP also has experience as a TV Director at Globosat, where they managed team productions for major sporting events and live broadcasts.

JP Garcia attended the General Assembly in 2016, where they studied Digital Marketing for a year. They later pursued a Master of Science degree in Media Studies at Brooklyn College, although the specific years are unknown. JP also studied Marketing and Distribution at the NYU School of Professional Studies, although the specific years are unknown as well. Prior to that, JP obtained a BA degree in Communications from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. In August of 2020, JP received a Google Analytics Certification from Google.
