Mariah Sepulveda

Mariah Sepulveda is an accomplished professional in the field of independent living and disability advocacy, currently serving as a member of the New York State Independent Living Council (NYSILC) since September 2023 and as the NYC Transition Specialist Liaison for the New York Association on Independent Living since August 2023. Mariah has extensive experience, including roles as a Transition Specialist and Independent Living Specialist at Bronx Independent Living Services, where responsibilities included assisting individuals with disabilities in transitioning back to community living. Additional experience includes serving on the Viscardi Advisory Board, summer employment with The Viscardi Center, modeling for Runway of Dreams, and various administrative roles, all while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies with concentrations in Organizational Leadership from Marist College, expected to graduate in December 2023.
