André van Wageningen

André van Wageningen has a diverse work experience in the mining industry. André currently works as a Study Manager at Rupert Resources since February 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Study Manager at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited from February 2021 to January 2023. At Agnico Eagle, André has held various roles including Engineering Manager - Shaft Project from February 2018 to January 2021, Manager Technology & Development from November 2014 to February 2018, Mine Engineering Superintendent from September 2011 to November 2014, Senior Mining Engineer from April 2011 to September 2011, and Senior Project Engineer from March 2010 to April 2011. Before joining Agnico Eagle, André worked as a Manager Mine Planning at Boliden Mineral AB from June 2008 to March 2010, and as a Senior Project Engineer from May 2005 to May 2008. André began their career as a Senior Research Engineer at MIRARCO - Mining Innovation Rehabilitation and Applied Research Corporation from May 2003 to May 2005, and as a Mining Consultant at AST Mining Canada from February 2002 to May 2003.

André van Wageningen completed their MSc in Mining Engineering at Delft University of Technology from 1994 to 2001. André pursued further education and obtained an MBA degree from Heriot-Watt University, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Prior to these degrees, they attended Gymnasium Camphusianum from 1988 to 1994, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
