Nicholas Read currently serves as an Operations Resource Coordinator I at the Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC), providing general support services for corporate, home, and field staff. Prior experience includes an Administrative and Programs Assistant role at the California Water Efficiency Partnership, where responsibilities encompassed administrative support and database management. Nicholas also worked as an Accounts Receivable Specialist for Sacramento Rendering Company, managing a substantial volume of customer accounts and cash deposits. Earlier internships include positions with the Alchemist Community Development Corporation, the Office of Assemblymember Das Williams, and the Office of Long-Term Planning and Sustainability, which involved community outreach, legislative research, and report preparation. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from UC Santa Barbara, earned in 2014.
