Tim Shackleton currently serves as the Chair of the WA Pastoral Lands Board at the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage since February 2017, and holds multiple board director positions at the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia, Royal Flying Doctor Service (WA), and HIF Australia. As Chief Executive Officer of Rural Health West from February 2016 to February 2025, Tim has also contributed as a director at the Regional Australia Institute and previously chaired the Wheatbelt Development Commission and the WA Regional Development Council. Tim's involvement in healthcare includes participation in the Aged Care Workforce Taskforce with the Australian Government Department of Human Services. An educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Human Movement from The University of Western Australia and a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Services Administration from Curtin University. Additionally, Tim has obtained a Company Director's Certificate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
