Dana C.

Dana C. has extensive experience in the field of radiation therapy. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Radiation Therapist at Alpha Med Physicians Group, where they ensured the quality of procedures and effectively communicated with staff and patients. They also served as the Positron Emission Mammography Coordinator, overseeing staff and managing patient care processes. From 2013 to 2016, Dana C. worked at UroPartners LLC as a Radiation Therapist, where they mentored and trained staff, resolved conflicts, and managed supply chain. At Renown Health from 2016 to 2018, they collaborated with Medical Physics to identify process and care improvement needs and drafted and applied new policies and procedures. They continued their radiation therapy career at UI Health from 2018 to 2020 as a Radiation Therapist II, obtaining certification in TrueBeam Platform Enhanced Imaging Concepts and participating in drafting important patient-related letters. Most recently, Dana C. worked at Northwestern Medicine as a Radiation Therapist from 2020 to February 2022, contributing to the training and education of new hires and staff on various equipment and systems. They are currently employed as the Lead Radiation Therapist at Rush Copley Medical Center.

Dana C. has a diverse education history. Dana obtained their Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree with a focus on Health Care Administration/Project Management from Colorado State University Global between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Care Administration and Management from the same institution from 2013 to 2015.

Furthermore, Dana C. holds an Associates in Applied Science degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from Triton College, which they obtained from 1998 to 2001. Dana also pursued a Certificate in Radiation Therapy and Electrocardiography (EKG) from the College of DuPage from 2011 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Dana C. has obtained various certifications. Dana holds a Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) certification from the American Heart Association, which they received in May 2020. Dana also has certifications in Nuclear Medicine Technology and Radiation Therapy from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency, obtained in April 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a certification in Radiation Therapy from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in December 2012. Lastly, Dana C. holds a certification from The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, which they obtained in January 2001.
