Angela D. Hill-Smith serves as Credentialing Manager for Rush Health, overseeing operational processes for the Credentialing Verification Organization and Provider Data Management since April 2018. Responsibilities include managing credentialing audits, data maintenance for clients, and fostering collaborative relationships. Prior to Rush Health, Angela D. Hill-Smith accumulated extensive experience at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas from April 1991 to October 2017, where roles spanned from Sr. Supervisor in Medical Operations to Senior Corporate Credentialing Analyst. Notable achievements include creating tracking systems for Medicaid compliance audits, conducting on-site audits for various health plans, and ensuring adherence to National Committee for Quality Assurance standards in credentialing processes. Educational background includes studies at Northwestern Business College and City Colleges of Chicago-Wilbur Wright College.
