Chris Barker is currently the Director at RUSH-HENRIETTA CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT. Prior to this, they served as the district's Director of Student Management from April 2015 to July 2020. In this role, they oversaw district safety, student management, P.B.I.S., attendance/registration, and many other responsibilities. Chris also served as an Assistant Principal at Rush Henrietta High School from July 2020 to July 2021.
Chris Barker began their career in education as an Assistant Principal at Rush-Henrietta Burger Middle School from August 2007 to April 2015. Chris then served as the Building Principal at Rush-Henrietta Central School District's Ninth Grade Academy for three years before becoming an Assistant Principal again at Schlegel Road Elementary in the Webster Central School District from September 1990 to June 2000.
Chris Barker has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Elementary Education from Nazareth College of Rochester, a CAS Educational Administration from State University of New York College at Brockport, and an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Monroe Community College.
Chris Barker reports to Lawrence Bo Wright, Superintendent. They work with Geraldo Torres - Director, Nerlande Anselme - Assistant Superintendent, and Andrew Whitmore - Assistant Superintendent.
