Matt Walsh

Matt Walsh serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Rush University System for Health since January 2024. Previously, Matt held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Geisinger from April 2017 to January 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing operations for a vast clinical enterprise and various corporate functions. Prior to that, Matt was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Health Alliance Plan, and served in various leadership roles at Henry Ford Health System, including Chief Access Officer and Vice President of Clinical Transformation and IT Integration. Matt’s experience encompasses operational leadership and strategic oversight in healthcare, supported by a BBA from the University of Michigan and an MHA from the University of Phoenix.
