Michael Raczynski

Michael Raczynski serves as the Global Chief Compliance Officer at Russell Investments since March 2023. Prior to this role, Raczynski was Senior Vice President and Counsel at The D. E. Shaw Group from October 2015 to March 2023, overseeing the Core Compliance team and addressing various regulatory issues including the Investment Advisers Act and cybersecurity. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Compliance Officer and Assistant General Counsel at JPMorgan Chase, focusing on compliance for Alternative Investments and Advisory Programs, as well as working as an associate at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP in the Investment Management group. Raczynski earned a law degree from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Boston College.
