Edgar G. Karapetyan

Edgar G. Karapetyan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy, innovation, and financial sector development. Currently serving as the Director of Strategy and Innovation at Galaxy Group of Companies and a Board Member at Upay, Edgar has contributed significantly to academia as an Associate Professor at the Russian-Armenian University since 2004. Formerly a Financial and Private Sector Specialist at The World Bank, Edgar led key projects and reforms in Armenia's financial landscape. Additional roles include Commercial Director and Deputy CFO at Armavia Air Company, as well as leadership positions in various financial projects with USAID. Edgar holds a Ph.D. in International Finance and has completed executive education at Stanford University.
