Prof. Georgi Chaltikyan, MD, PhD, currently serves as a Professor and Head of the Digital Health Master's program at Deggendorf Institute of Technology, focusing on courses related to Digital Health, Telemedicine, and Health Management. Additionally, Prof. Chaltikyan is an Honorary Professor and Head of the Digital Health Center at Russian-Armenian University, and the Founder and Chairman of the Armenian Association of Digital Health, dedicated to advancing digital health initiatives in Armenia. As a seasoned consultant surgeon, Prof. Chaltikyan has extensive experience in general and laparoscopic surgery. Previous roles include a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of Southern California and significant teaching positions at Yerevan State Medical University. Prof. Chaltikyan's educational background includes an MD from Yerevan State Medical University and involvement in various professional organizations and initiatives supporting healthcare in Armenia and beyond.
