Thomas Davis

Thomas Davis has extensive experience in sports journalism and management. Currently serving in an aquatics role at the YMCA of Southeast Missouri since April 2022, Thomas also works as a freelance sports reporter and regional sports editor for Rust Communications, managing sports content for five newspapers that cover 54 high schools and two colleges across 14 counties. Previous roles include creator and editor at One Zero Sports, where Thomas produced feature stories for a subscription-based site, and sports editor at Fort Wayne Newspapers, overseeing a sports department and enhancing media content through various platforms. Earlier experience includes managing editor positions at Paxton Media Group, where Thomas improved content and design for two daily newspapers. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Teaching from Butler University.
