Endre Angelvik

Executive Vice President Radical Innovation at Ruter As

Endre Angelvik's work experience begins in 2003 when they worked as a Managing Consultant at Kantega AS. In 2004, they joined DNV as a Senior Researcher, focusing on procurement of complex ICT systems. Endre then moved on to SpareBank 1 Gruppen in 2006, where they held multiple roles including Operations Manager and Manager of a testing center.

In 2010, Angelvik joined Secode as a Senior Consultant in Information Security and later became the Department Manager for Managed Security Services. Endre also worked as a Project Manager in IT at Elopak from 2011 to 2013.

In 2014, Angelvik joined Ruter As, first as the Chief Information Officer and then as the Vice President of Mobility Services. From 2017 to 2021, they held the position of Executive Vice President of Radical Innovation at Ruter As.

Angelvik also served on various boards, including Agder Kollektivtrafikk from 2018 to the present, AtB AS from 2018 to 2020, and Konsentra AS where they were the Chair of the Board of Directors from 2017.

Most recently, Angelvik joined UITP in 2019. Endre holds two key roles within the organization: Chair of the Automated Mobility Working Group since March 2022 and Chair of the Combined Mobility Committee since June 2019. As Chair of the Combined Mobility Committee, their responsibilities include identifying and overseeing the committee's work and deliverables in developing knowledge and policy documents for UITP and its members.

Throughout their career, Angelvik has demonstrated expertise in strategic initiatives, innovation, mobility services, information technology, and leadership.

Endre Angelvik obtained a Master's degree (Sivilingeniør) in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1990 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Laksevåg Gymnas from 1984 to 1988, but the degree and field of study obtained are unspecified. Endre also attended LeRoy Central High School from 1985 to 1986, where they earned a Regents Diploma in Computer Science. Endre Angelvik has subsequently obtained additional certifications, including CISSP from ISC2 in 2009 and ITIL v3 Foundation in 2008.
