Brenda Alves

Brenda Alves is currently the Managing Articles Editor and previously served as an Associate Editor for the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal since August 2022. Brenda gained valuable experience as a Compliance Intern at Delta Dental of New Jersey and Connecticut in June 2023, and as a Judicial Intern with The Honorable Verna G. Leath from September to November 2022. Additionally, Brenda worked as a Legal Intern at the Center for Public Health Law Research at Temple University Beasley School of Law during the summer of 2022. Previous roles include positions as a Support Specialist and High Touch Care Advocate at The New York Times, Customer Service Representative at C+A Global, and Research Intern at the Rutgers Institute for Women's Leadership. Brenda began their career as a Sales Associate at Urban Outfitters. Education includes pursuing a Doctor of Law at Rutgers Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's and Gender Studies and Criminal Justice from Rutgers University.
