Rebecca Baier

Program Director, Career Studio & Programming at Rutgers University

I focus on engaging students with Career Exploration and Success from the start of their time at Rutgers. This includes messaging for New Student Orientation and the First-Year Interest Group Seminars (FIGS). I oversee the Career Studio, which provides career resources and services to students on the spot, with no appointments necessary. I oversee core programs within CES, including the How-To workshop series and our annual Career Conference. I supervise Peer Career Coaches and Career Engagement Operatives, highly-trained peers who provide guidance and resources to students stopping into the Career Studio and participating in our events.

I have a BS in Mathematics from Monmouth University, a MA in Higher Education Student Personnel from the University of Mississippi, and am a Board Certified Life and Career Coach through the Center for Credentialing and Education.

I previously worked in New Student Orientation at Rutgers University, Residence Life at Rider University, and Orientation Programs at Temple University, with a strong background in programming and curriculum development; student staff training, development, and supervision; and public speaking and team building.
