Jesse Pound

Jesse Pound is an experienced attorney with a career spanning several roles in various legal settings. Currently serving as an Associate Attorney at Rutter Mills LLP since June 2021, Jesse specializes in federal workers' compensation cases under the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, along with representing injured workers in Virginia's state workers' compensation claims. Previously, Jesse worked at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP, handling Trusts & Estates, Community Associations, Commercial Litigation, and Employment Law. Prior experience includes significant roles with the U.S. Department of Labor as a Law Clerk and Staff Attorney, and as a Magistrate in the 1st Judicial District of Virginia. Jesse holds a Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School, alongside degrees in Journalism from New York University and Film and Video from the University of Michigan. Jesse’s diverse background also includes a tenure in real estate as an Assistant Manager and Associate Broker.
