Mario Chacon

Mario Chacon has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Mario started their career at Informed Medical Communications in 2002 as a Software Developer and later transitioned into the Quality Assurance sector. Mario then joined Interprod S.A. in 2008 as a Senior Software Developer, where they designed and developed a central server for casino games. In 2009, they moved to Globant as a Software Developer, focusing on the development of measurement systems for real-time control devices.

In 2010, Mario joined Red Link S.A. as a Software Technical Lead, where they played a key role in finding software solutions for service integration in the middleware sector. Mario also managed the software coordination team. Following this, they worked at Bennu S.A. as a Senior Software Development Engineer, contributing to the development of background services with cellphone providers in Argentina and Brazil.

From 2016 to 2017, Mario held the position of Senior Software Development Engineer at Virtualmind - Software House, where they worked on the development of integration services for a prominent US company. Mario defined APIs and developed microservices integration.

In 2017, Mario joined Mercado Libre as a Senior Software Developer and later became a Technical Lead. At Mercado Libre, they played a critical role in leading technical teams and contributed to the development of the company's platform.

Most recently, in 2021, Mario joined 10Pines as a Software Developer before moving on to become the Engineering Lead at Ruuts in 2023.

Mario Chacon attended Universidad Abierta Interamericana from 2005 to 2020, where they studied Computer Software Engineering.
