Tim Benter

Tim Benter currently serves as corporate vice president, and general counsel of RV Retailer, LLC, where he is responsible for all legal affairs of the company. Prior to joining RV Retailer, Tim spent 22 years in senior management for Republic Services, an industry-leading public company founded by Wayne Huizenga that is the second-largest solid waste and recycling services company in North America with over $10 billion in annual revenue. Tim’s most recent legal role was vice president, deputy general counsel, and assistant secretary at Republic Services, and he also served in business operations roles including vice president, engineering, and environmental compliance.

A native of Baltimore, MD, Tim earned a B.S in Finance from the University of Maryland, a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, and an M.B.A from Arizona State University.
