Marloes Vasse

Marloes Vasse has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. In 2018, they began their career as an All-round F&B Employee at Vito's Sandwich & Trattoria. Marloes then worked as a Barista at Starbucks before joining Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol as a Human Resources Trainee and later as a Human Resources Agent. In 2019, Marloes became a Co-Owner of Avant Tout, where they organized wine tastings and oldtimer car rentals. Marloes also worked at RSM Erasmus University as a Student Ambassador and Student Assistant for Recruitment & Admissions. In 2021, they founded "De Stadswandeling 038," a walking tour initiative to support local businesses affected by COVID-19. Marloes gained additional HR experience at Pré Wonen as a Junior HR Advisor, and later as an International HR Advisor a.i. at Five Guys International. Currently, they are working as an HR Interim Professional at Rvdb, where they are involved in various HR assignments and personal development trainings. In 2023, Marloes will join Hotel Okura Amsterdam as an HR Business Partner a.i. through Rvdb.

Marloes Vasse's education history is as follows:

Marloes obtained a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Human Resource Management from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University from 2020 to 2021. Marloes then pursued a bijvak (additional course) in Dutch Labor Law at the University of Groningen, focusing on that topic for a brief period in 2021.

Prior to their master's degree, Marloes completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Hospitality Management from NHL Stenden between 2016 and 2019. During this time, they also participated in a minor program called "Change and Innovation" at Stenden, specifically focused on Human Resource Management in South Africa.

Marloes began their educational journey by undertaking International Hospitality Studies (Fast Track) at Deltion College from 2014 to 2016. Before that, they completed Senior General Secondary Education (HAVO) with a specialization in Economics & Society at Meander College Zwolle from 2009 to 2014.

Furthermore, Marloes has acquired several certifications to complement their education. These include:

- Gecertificeerd DISC en Drijfveren Specialist from TalentFirst Nederland BV, obtained in November 2022.

- Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google Digital Garage, obtained in December 2020.

- Barista Certification from Starbucks, obtained in November 2018.

- CHIA: Certification in Hotel Analytics from the American Hotel & Lodging Association, obtained in June 2018.

- Pearson BTEC Level 3 in Hospitality from Pearson, obtained in June 2016.

- Wijnbrevet (SDEN / SWEN 3) from Stichting Dranken Examens en Normering (SDEN), obtained in June 2016.

- Sociale Hygiëne from SVH (Stichting Vakbekwaamheid Horeca), obtained in May 2016.
