Geoffrey Nkusi

Geoffrey NKUSI has extensive experience in power system protection, currently serving as Chief Engineer at Rwanda Energy Group since December 2015, previously holding positions such as Senior Engineer and Network Protection Specialist. In these roles, Geoffrey has focused on ensuring the reliable operation of the Electricity Network through protective relay settings, calculations, and high voltage substation automation. Geoffrey began their career as a Data Entry Clerk at Premier Consulting Group and later served as Team Supervisor for a malaria prevention program at RTI RWANDA, along with customer care support at Tigo Rwanda. Geoffrey holds a Master of Business Administration in Project Management from the University of Rwanda and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Telecommunications Engineering from Kigali Institute of Science and Technology.
