Kyambadde Richard

Kyambadde Richard has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Kyambadde currently serves as the Marketing and Community Director at Rwazi since October 2022. Previously, they worked as a Marketing & Community Manager at the same company from October 2020 to October 2022. Before that, they worked as a Communications Executive at Sigma Squared Society starting from July 2022.

Kyambadde also has experience in the hospitality industry, having worked at Watoto Child Care Ministries. Kyambadde held the position of Guest Relations Coordinator - Finance and Quality control from May 2018 to November 2021. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing quality control, and budget monitoring. Prior to this, they worked as a Guest Liaison Officer at Watoto Child Care Ministries from May 2016 to May 2018, where they handled airport transfers and volunteers from around the globe.

Additionally, Kyambadde has experience in social media management, having worked as a Social Media Lead at Big + Box from May 2020 to December 2020. Kyambadde successfully managed and grew the company's social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Furthermore, they worked as a Hospitality and Engagement Coordinator at Restoration Gateway in 2015, where they managed on-ground logistics and projects for visiting partners from the USA, handled budgeting, and provided extensive accountability. Kyambadde also worked as a Guest Liaison Officer at Watoto Child Care Ministries from July 2013 to May 2015, where they provided an excellent experience to global and local partners and liaised with various teams and volunteers.

Kyambadde Richard completed their diploma in Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality Management from the Tourism Institute of East Africa in 2018. Kyambadde then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business and Professional Leadership from Southeastern University, specializing in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Kyambadde obtained this degree in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Kyambadde Richard has also earned several certifications. In 2018, they completed a course on Building High Performance Teams from Solutions Africa. The following year, in 2019, they obtained a certification in Leadership on Steroids, also from Solutions Africa. In 2020, they received certifications in Venture from The African Leadership University and Digital Marketing from Udemy. Lastly, in 2022, they obtained a certification as a Peer Coach from CoffeeChat.
