Hussein Syed

Hussein Syed has an extensive background in information security and IT management, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and Director of IT&S Security at RWJBarnabas Health since May 2002. Prior experience includes the role of CISO at the International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals in 2016, and Director of the Infrastructure Group at ShareMax from 1999 to 2002. Hussein's earlier career was marked by positions as a Consulting Engineer at Inacom and Systems Engineer at Vanstar. Hussein holds a degree from Kean University, having studied from 1988 to 1992.
