Erik de Vrieze

Erik De Vrieze is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software architecture and platform development. Currently serving as Senior Director of Platform and Ecosystem at RWS Group since October 2020, Erik is responsible for building a robust ecosystem around the Trados platform. Formerly the Chief Architect at RWS, Erik led a team of over 100 developers to significantly enhance the cloud platform architecture, facilitating substantial revenue growth. Prior roles at SDL plc included Portfolio Architect and Lead Architect, where Erik directed technical leadership for diverse software products and oversaw the transition of the development organization to a new location. Erik's entrepreneurial spirit is evident in the ownership of CodingBreeze, which focuses on developing applications for RWS's AppStore. Erik's early career at TRADOS involved developing commercial software for the localization market. Erik holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Antwerp.
