Sonya Percival

Sonya Percival is an experienced textile designer and linguistic validation specialist with a diverse background. Currently, Sonya serves as a participating designer at Minted since January 2019 and operates as an independent textile designer through sonyapercival.com, represented by Nerida Hansen Prints & Textiles. Key responsibilities include the conceptual development of collections and original artwork production. Since February 2019, Sonya has worked as a localization linguist for RWS Group, focusing on clinical studies and life sciences. Prior roles include associate project coordinator at Clinical Ink and art appreciation instructor at St. Augustine College. Early experience includes translation work at Reasoning Mind and graphic production at Wizards of the Coast. Sonya holds a BA in Humanities from the University of Washington, along with specialized training in textile design.
