Megan Griffith

Megan Griffith is a versatile music professional with extensive experience in various roles within the music industry. Currently serving as a Music Consultant at RX Music since August 2023 and as the Creative Director at On the Balcony Toronto from October 2020, Megan has contributed to community-building and artist promotion during the pandemic. With a strong background in music education and performance, Megan teaches music through Stay At Home Music and operates as a freelance musician since 2013, focusing on genres such as Jazz, R&B, and Caribbean/Latin music. Previous positions include Repertoire Analyst at Re:Sound Music Licensing, Workshop Facilitator and Piano Accompanist for Nia Centre for the Arts, and Keyboardist for the 1688 Orchestra and Collective. Academically, Megan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Music from York University, along with degrees from Barbados Community College and Berklee College of Music, complemented by ongoing studies in piano performance and music theory with ABRSM.
