Joshua Hicks

Joshua Hicks has over 18 years of experience in various leadership roles in the chemical industry. Joshua is currently working at Rayonier Advanced Materials as the Senior Vice President of High Purity Cellulose. Before joining Rayonier, Joshua worked at Univar Solutions, where they served as the Vice President of Global Industrial Solutions and later as the Vice President of Focused Industries. At Univar, they led multiple business units, managed large teams, and oversaw multi-billion dollar profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities. Prior to that, Joshua held positions at Nexeo Solutions, including Business Director of CASE, Business Director of Personal Care Chemicals, and Co-Business Director of Oil & Gas Chemicals. Joshua also worked as a Sr. Product Manager, managing a portfolio of specialty and commodity chemicals. Joshua started their career at The Dow Chemical Company, where they worked in various commercial and account management roles. Joshua holds extensive industry knowledge and expertise in areas such as coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, personal care chemicals, and oil & gas chemicals. Joshua also has experience in managing equity transitions and private equity ownership within the industry.

Joshua Hicks obtained a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University in the years 1998 to 2004. Joshua later pursued an MBA for Executives in Finance from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business from 2010 to 2012. Joshua's educational background also includes an unspecified period of time at Brigham Young University–Hawaii.
