Kate Dean

Kate Dean has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Kate started their career as a Data Processing Manager at Nitches Inc. in 1983 and worked there until 1988. In 1989, they joined Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, where they held various positions ranging from programmer/analyst to systems analyst to QA. Their last position at Northrop Grumman involved QA Manager duties, and they worked there until 2006. In 2008, Kate became an Independent Consultant - Sr. QA Engineer at MOI Inc. and held that role until 2012. In 2010, they also worked as a Wellness Consultant at NSA Juice Plus until 2016. In 2014, they started working as a Virtual Assistant at their self-owned business for a year. In the same year, they joined Ryan Consulting Group, Inc. and worked as a Sr. Software Engineer on the FOCUS upgrade project. Kate continued working there, primarily on the analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation of a large-scale DoD financial accounting system. Kate's most recent position is as a Sr. Systems Analyst at SIERTEK LTD, which they started in 2018.

Kate Dean attended San Diego State University from 1983 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems. In July 2010, they received certification as a Computer Support Technician (A+) from CompTIA. In April 2017, they obtained the Security+ certification from the same institution.
