Jim Motes

Jim Motes currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Ryan, a position held since May 2023. Additionally, Jim is part of the CISO Advisory Council at Dune Security since December 2023. Previously, Jim held the role of CISO and Vice President of Technology Operations at GameStop from December 2018 to May 2023, and served as interim CISO for GameStop while at Knightsview Consulting, LLC. Jim has extensive experience in information security leadership, having held key positions including Vice President of Information Security at Kohler Co. and Vice President & Chief Information Security Officer at Rockwell Automation. Jim's earlier roles include Vice President of Information Security at Invensys and Chief Information Security & Privacy Officer at Perot Systems Corp, contributing to strategic direction and management of information security operations throughout a robust career that began at Affiliated Computer Services. Jim Motes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Delaware State University.
