João Amado

João Amado began their professional career in 2009 as a student at Escola secundária José Gomes Ferreira. João then pursued higher education at Faculdade de Ciências de Lisboa from 2011 to 2018, while also taking on the role of a student. In 2015, João worked at CR7 Travelling Museum, initially as a store assistant and later assuming more responsibilities, including being a guide and store manager. João even traveled with the museum to Dubai for a 2-month assignment. From 2015 to 2016, João worked at BUYGIFT, where they were involved in graphic design and multimedia production. In 2016, they briefly worked at WIME - O Seu GPS de Vinhos in sales. João then joined PCDIGA in 2018 as a Full-stack Developer until 2019. João continued their career journey at Glartek from 2019 to 2022 as a Back-end Developer. Currently, João is employed as a Senior Backend Engineer at ryd starting from May 2022.

João Amado completed their undergraduate education from 2014 to 2017 at the University of Lisbon, where they earned a degree in Tecnologia da Informação (Information Technology).
